These editorial illustrations were created for the WE12 Conference Issue for the Magazine of the Society of Women Engineers. The concept was “intersections” with the focus of the feature being “urban planning”. The client wanted an abstract representation of a map or diagram that might be created by an urban planner. This is a series of illustrations created for the Fall/Winter 2012 issue of Case Western Reserve’s (CWR) Think Magazine. The concept behind these illustrations are based on CWR’s plans to build an innovation center where members of different educational disciplines can collaborate to plan, create and test new ideas. CWR will provide the tools that will help budding entrepreneurs launch new companies directly from campus. All illustrations are mixed media.
